ABOUT AUSTIN SANCTUARY GARDENS
Austin Sanctuary Gardens is a landscape design + build studio creating thoughtful, distinctive outdoor spaces throughout Austin and the surrounding Hill Country.
Founded by Patrick Mack, Austin Sanctuary Gardens brings decades of hands-on landscape experience to the design process. That experience—from planting and stonework to irrigation, construction, and the long-term evolution of a garden—shapes an approach to design that considers not only how a landscape looks, but how it will actually be built, lived in, and grow over time.
OUR APPROACH
We believe the best landscapes feel natural to both the home and the land around them.
Rather than designing around a particular style or formula, each project begins with the existing site—its architecture, topography, views, vegetation, materials, and the way the client wants to experience the space.
The goal is simple: create beautiful, functional landscapes that feel intentional without feeling overdesigned.
Native and adapted plantings, natural stone, thoughtful transitions, strong proportions, and an understanding of the Central Texas landscape are recurring elements of our work. The result is a landscape that feels connected to its surroundings and distinctly your own.
