A landscape master plan provides a clear vision for your property, bringing together layout, materials, planting, circulation, and long-term growth.
Each plan is thoughtfully developed around the site, your lifestyle, and the way the landscape will ultimately be built—creating a cohesive foundation for your outdoor space. Existing conditions, architecture, views, privacy, drainage, sun exposure, and connections between indoor and outdoor spaces are considered as part of the overall design.

ABOUT PATRICK MACK
Landscape design has been a lifelong pursuit. I began working in the landscape industry at the age of twelve, developing an early appreciation for craftsmanship, horticulture, and the creation of beautiful outdoor spaces.
Over more than three decades, my work has taken me through landscape design, high-end residential construction, renovation, project management, and the hands-on building of landscapes throughout New England, California, Florida, and Central Texas. That experience has given me a practical understanding of how architecture, materials, planting, and construction come together to create a cohesive outdoor environment.
In 2021, I founded Austin Sanctuary Gardens as a design-build landscape company in Austin. Over the following years, ASG completed hundreds of projects ranging from intimate residential gardens to large-scale outdoor living environments. I also had the opportunity to serve as an installation contractor selected to build landscape projects for Amy Hovis of Eden Garden Design during the launch of the Barton Springs Nursery Design Studio.
In 2026, Austin Sanctuary Gardens evolved into a design-focused studio specializing in thoughtful residential landscapes, design consultation, and project guidance.
Today, I approach every project with the perspective of both a designer and a builder. A landscape should be more than beautiful on paper—it should respond to the architecture, feel natural to its surroundings, function well in everyday life, and be thoughtfully considered for how it will actually be built and mature over time.
The goal is simple: to create outdoor spaces that are beautiful, functional, enduring, and distinctly connected to the people and places they belong to.
